Κηδεύτηκαν τα προσφυγόπουλα που πνίγηκαν στην Αλικαρνασσό – Κατέρρευσε ο πατέρας
Τα δύο αγοράκια από τη Συρία που πνίγηκαν μαζί με τη μητέρα τους στην προσπάθειά τους να φθάσουν στην Ελλάδα οδηγήθηκαν στην τελευταία τους κατοικία, στη συριακή πόλη Κομπάνι.
Φωτογραφία του άψυχου κορμιού του ενός από τα νήπια, του τρίχρονου Αϊλάν Κούρντι, που ξεβράστηκε σε τουρκική παραλία, έκανε τον γύρο του κόσμου μέσω των ιστότοπων κοινωνικής δικτύωσης και των εφημερίδων αυτή την εβδομάδα, προκαλώντας συμπόνια αλλά και οργή για αυτό που θεωρείται ως αδράνεια των ανεπτυγμένων χωρών να βοηθήσουν τους πρόσφυγες.

Ο Αμπντουλάχ Κούρντι, ο πατέρας τους, έβαλε τα κλάματα κατά τη διάρκεια της “Τελετής των Μαρτύρων” βλέποντας τις σορούς να ενταφιάζονται η μία δίπλα στην άλλη στην κουρδική πόλη Κομπάνι ή Άιν αλ-Άραμπ, κοντά στα σύνορα με την Τουρκία.
Μιλώντας στο συνοριακό πέρασμα, ο Κούρντι εξέφρασε την ελπίδα ο θάνατος της οικογένειάς του να κάνει τα αραβικά κράτη να βοηθήσουν τους Σύρους πρόσφυγες.
“Ζητώ από τις αραβικές κυβερνήσεις –όχι από τις ευρωπαϊκές χώρες– να δουν (τι συνέβη) στα παιδιά μου και με αφορμή αυτό να βοηθήσουν τον κόσμο”, είπε, σύμφωνα με τοπικό ραδιοφωνικό σταθμό που ανάρτησε στο διαδίκτυο τις δηλώσεις του.
