Πρώτα διακόσμησε το τραπέζι με κεριά. Μετά έφτιαξε μια τηγανητή μπριζόλα από την πλάτη του Bernd Brandes που συνόδευσε με πατάτες και λαχανάκια Βρυξελλών.
“Αφού ετοίμασα το δείπνο μου, το έφαγα. Η πρώτη μπουκιά ήταν φυσικά πολύ παράξενη. Ένα συναίσθημα που δεν μπορώ να περιγράψω. Το λαχταρούσα περισσότερα από 40 χρόνια. Το ονειρευόμουν. Επιτέλους ένιωθα ότι τα είχα καταφέρει. Έχει γεύση χοιρινού κρέατος αλλά πολύ πιο δυνατή”.

In a case which both horrified and fascinated the public, a court in Kassel on Friday, 30 January 2004, issued a guilty verdict against self-confessed gay cannibal Armin Meiwes, but on a charge which could see him a free man in a few years’ time. The court found Meiwes guilty of manslaughter, serving him an eight and a half year prison term. The prosecution had been seeking a life sentence on a charge of murder in the case in which the 42-year-old defendant admitted he had killed, dismembered and partially devoured his victim at Meiwes’ home in the picturesque village of nearby Rotenburg in March 2001.
